about: This album is about friends, old and new, good and bad. It is a break from from, and perhaps a return to, my roots as a life long musician. Years of formal music training led to a desire for a simpler, more poignant outlet of expression. In the fall of 2008 I purchased a rather basic recording set up and went to work writing and recording songs inspired by my favorite songwriters. It was an opportunity to be the mastermind behind all aspects of each piece of music and perform on instruments that were not native to me. It also was an opportunity to express through lyrics, something I had little experience with. All of what you hear on this album has been performed by myself unless otherwise credited. All of it was written, recorded and mixed by me in my home in Paterson NJ. Enjoy.
